Over on the Yahoo Girl Genius mailing list we've been having a discussion about comic shops that carry, or will cheerfully order, Girl Genius.

This seems like a convenient place to list some of them:

BASES comics 'n'cards (Lancaster, CA)
The Outer Limits (Murfreesboro, TN)
Grand Adventures (Murfreesboro, TN)
Lonestar Comics (near Fort Worth, TX)
Comic Relief (Berkeley, CA)
Dragon's Lair (Austin, TX)

And some of my personal favorites:
Chicago Comics (Chicago, IL)
DreamHaven Books (Minneapolis, MN)
Zanadu Comics (Seattle, WA)

I've decided against listing the places that people have not been able to get books from. While it might be a good opportunity let them know what they're missing out on, there's also the chance that some aggressive supporter will leave a bad impression. And besides, several of the volumes are (just at this moment) Out Of Stock at the publisher, so it makes more sense to try and convert them once things are more available.

This account was initially set up to allow non-LJ folks to comment at places like kajafoglio. But now the Girl Genius yahoo group has grown to the point where some conversations are difficult to hold, so perhaps we could use Live Journal instead.

Another option is creating another, more specific yahoo group.

Least conversational, but still workable, is individually emailing each other about everything.
